With generous indoor and outdoor living spaces, our Beachfront Casitas are perfect for relaxing after a day spent surfing, exploring Coiba National Park, or simply enjoying life by the sea. A private loft with two twin beds makes these accommodations especially well suited for families or small groups.

The Palm Beachfront Casita combines all the comforts of our signature beachfront accommodations with one unforgettable feature—a private outdoor soaking tub.

Spend your days exploring Panama's Pacific coast before returning for sunset cocktails on your private patio, an evening soak beneath the stars, and the soothing rhythm of the ocean just beyond your door. With an open-concept loft just steps away, it's just as suited to a family with little ones close by as it is to a couple celebrating something special.

TREEHOUSES

Best for: Wildlife lovers and quiet escapes.

We have two treehouses at Catalina's Hideaway, each tucked into the jungle canopy and perfect for wildlife lovers — think parrots, tropical birds, and yes, a resident crocodile or two down by the pond.

Due to the wildlife they're surrounded by, we're unable to accommodate children under the age of 5 in either treehouse. Both are built the same way — almond wood, private patios, hammocks, floor-to-ceiling glass doors that open to the jungle — but they differ in two big ways: elevation, and shower style. One sits high in the canopy with an indoor shower; the other sits at ground level with our signature outdoor garden shower.

Elevated above the jungle canopy, with a king bed only, an indoor shower, and a built-in catamaran hammock made for two.

THE BELLWOODS INN

Best for: Retreat groups & travelers looking for exceptional value

Overlooking our one-acre freshwater pond, the Bellwoods Inn's four rooms offer a quieter retreat surrounded by birds, butterflies, turtles, and tropical gardens — with a resident crocodile keeping an eye on things from the water. Set in one bungalow-style building where rooms share walls, it's a more traditional hotel-room feel than our free-standing casitas, and each room still has its own private, screened-in patio.

Choose a Luxe Inn Room for Catalina's signature outdoor garden shower, or a Standard Inn Room if you prefer an indoor shower. Either way, you'll enjoy a comfortable, peaceful stay immersed in nature.

Traveling with a baby or toddler? Our Beachfront Casita and Palm Beachfront offer the most floor space for a pack-and-play crib or kids' mattress (available on request).

Traveling with younger kids who like to know mom and dad are close by? The Palm Beachfront and Garden Casita both have open-concept lofts, with no door separating them from the main room — just note kids will need to be comfortable climbing stairs or a ladder to reach them.

And if your kids are a little older and ready for some independence, the Beachfront Casita's loft has its own door, giving both parents and kids more privacy.
