All of our casita's are designed with families in mind. This is where salty sea air meets lush jungle shade — perfect for sprawling days, snuggly nights, and pillow-fort adventures.

 Beachfront Casitas
Spacious, stylish, and ideal for families of all ages.
These 990 sq ft beachfront units feature a master bedroom and a separate loft with two twin beds. The loft is best suited for kids aged 6+, but we also offer cribs or small mattresses for little ones in the main bedroom. Each casita has a private outdoor garden shower.

 Beachfront Spa Casita
Great for families with kids of any age, especially younger ones.
This open-concept beachfront casita has a large loft (2 twin beds) connected directly to the main bedroom, making it ideal for families with younger children (ages 4+ recommended for the stairs). Includes a luxurious spa-style bathroom with an outdoor tub and garden shower.

 Garden Casitas
Cozy, comfortable, and all-age friendly.
Slightly smaller than our beachfronts, the garden casitas feature an open loft with a double (full) bed. These lofts are best for kids aged 4+, but cribs can be added for younger children. A great option for adventurous families or those traveling with siblings of mixed ages.

Perfect for families with older kids and teens.
Parents can enjoy a romantic escape in our elevated luxury treehouse, while older kids or teens stay just steps away in Bellwoods Inn — four boutique-style rooms that convert from king to twin beds. (Note: The Treehouse is not recommended for toddlers due to its elevation.)

The property is like a little gem off the beaten path but easily close enough to all the tours and activities like surfing, diving, and Coiba National Park. Very cool vibe, great music, and super family friendly. We stayed in the casita named Palm and it was perfect for us. Big comfy king bed for the adults + 2 twin beds for kids, good AC, and we loved the private outdoor shower. Anthea and Ryan were great hosts! Olga, Nick, Camila and all the staff were incredibly kind as well and went above and beyond to make sure the kiddos were happy, well fed, and having fun. Food and drinks options were really decent, fairly priced, and they had kid-friendly options too. They even organized a big Easter egg hunt for all the kids which was adorable. Would definitely recommend for families.”

    “We cannot say enough good things about Catalina’s Hideaway! From the messaging before the trip until the final hour, everyone is so warm and welcoming!
    We have traveled a great deal with our four year old and one year old but Catalina’s Hideaway is the only place my four year old has ever cried leaving because she loved it so much (and that includes Disney World!). It’s the perfect place for a family, small enough to easily walk around but large enough to not feel bored. Every activity outside of the resort was seamlessly planned for us. There was no stress, just enjoyment!
    The staff were incredible, so kind and always willing to help. We loved all that there was to do on site and loved that we felt so secluded from the rest of the world.
    We don’t repeat locations often but would love to come back!”
